Cateflow – Restaurant Management SaaS

Cateflow was built to solve a common problem faced by small and medium restaurant owners: managing operations across multiple tools. Many rely on spreadsheets or disconnected systems, leading to inefficiencies and data inconsistency.

The approach was to create a unified SaaS platform with a clean, modern UI and a strong backend architecture. A multi-tenant system was implemented to ensure data isolation between restaurants while keeping the system scalable. TypeORM ORM with PostgreSQL was chosen for reliability and performance, while React handled the frontend with a fast and responsive user experience.

One of the main tradeoffs was balancing flexibility with simplicity. Instead of overcomplicating features, the focus was on delivering core functionality with high usability. Future iterations will include integrations with payment gateways (like Stripe), real-time analytics, and mobile support.

Cateflow represents a step toward building scalable SaaS products tailored for real-world business needs.
